This fresh green vegetable dish plays well with any main dish.

- 1 tbsp. Becel® Buttery Taste* margarine (15 mL)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 lb. green beans (500 g)
- 1/2 cup fat free reduced sodium chicken or vegetable broth (125mL)
- 1 tsp. lemon juice (optional) (5mL)
In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt Becel® Buttery Taste margarine over medium-high heat and cook onion, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until tender. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, 1 minute. Add broth and lemon juice, then bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 6 minutes or until green beans are crisp-tender. Season, if desired, with salt and black pepper.
