  • 2 tbsp. (30 mL) Becel® Salt-Free margarine
  • 2 large ripe Bosc or Anjou pears, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 6 cups (1.4 L) torn red leaf lettuce
  • ⅓ cup (80 mL) fat free balsamic vinaigrette dressing
  • 2 tbsp. (30 mL) toasted chopped pecans
  • 1oz. (28 g) shaved parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Melt Becel® Salt-Free margarine in 12-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and cook pears, stirring occasionally, 8 minutes or until golden and tender; keep warm.

Step 2

Just before serving, toss lettuce with vinaigrette dressing. Arrange lettuce on serving plates, then top with warm pears and sprinkle with pecans and cheese.
