Ingredients


  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Becel® Salt-Free margarine
  • 2 large pears
  • 6 cups (1.5 L) torn red leaf lettuce
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) fat-free balsamic vinaigrette dressing
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1 oz. (30 g) shaved Pecorino Romano cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Melt Becel® Salt-Free margarine in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook pears, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender, about 8 minutes; keep warm.

Step 2

Toss lettuce with dressing just before serving. Arrange lettuce on serving plates. Top with warm pears, then sprinkle with pecans and cheese.
