  • 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) Becel® Buttery Taste margarine*
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) ground black pepper
  • 4 ears corn-on-the-cob, husked
  • 2 cups (500 mL) cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) finely chopped red onion**
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) loosely packed fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
  • 4 tsp. (20 mL) red wine vinegar


Step 1

Blend melted Becel® Buttery Taste margarine, garlic and black pepper in large bowl; set aside.

Step 2

Grill corn, turning occasionally, until tender, about 15 minutes. Cut kernels from corn and stir into margarine mixture. Toss in remaining ingredients. Serve warm or room temperature.

TIP: For added buttery flavour and to help prevent vegetables from sticking to the grill, first brush them with melted Becel.

**Sometimes onions can have a strong flavor. To enjoy the onion without the burn, soak chopped onion in ice cold water for a few minutes, then rinse and drain.
