1. Making room for rec
Unleash your inner athlete. From baseball and soccer to dodgeball or kickball, try a new activity or revisit a childhood favourite pastime. Bonus: the post-game social outings can be just as fun than the sport itself (we speak from experience).
2. Spinning it to win it
The fast pace of spin class will get rid of your worries wheel quick. We recommend trying a few instructors to find one you like. Tip: it helps if he or she shares your taste in music.
3. Making a run for it
Need a bit of extra motivation to get to the top of the hill or through that final mile? Running clubs will inspire you to cross the finish line and they’re a great way to meet new people. Plus, a little friendly competition never hurt anyone.
4. Taking a dance on something new
Think you need to have years of experience to take a dance class? Think again. There are many beginner classes ranging from hip hop to ballet and salsa. Get to stepping.
For those just getting into fitness, we suggest easing into it with activities that are great for all levels, including yoga, swimming, or pilates.
