Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (500 g) carrots, peeled and sliced diagonally
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Becel® Original margarine or Becel® Light margarine
  • 2 tsp. (10 mL) pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) chopped fresh parsley leaves, (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place carrots in medium saucepan and add just enough water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and cook over medium heat until carrots are crisp-tender, about 6 minutes.
  2. Drain carrots, then return to saucepan. Add Becel® Original margarine, maple syrup and mustard; heat through. Garnish with parsley.
